Your New Opportunity:
As one of our Commissioning and Technical Specialists, you'll work to get new and keep existing Power Generation systems up and running! Joining the team in Chipping Norton you'll use your skills to work on premium brands and exciting new technologies with OEM training and the ability to build both your skills and career!
What you'll do:
- Coordinate and complete various jobs on Energy Solutions products including directing subbies.
- Diagnose, repair, commission, service and install our Energy Solutions systems with large Diesel and Gas Generators, Rotary UPS and Battery Storage solutions, including their control and auxiliary systems.
- Work closely with customers, consultants, partners and internal teams to ensure we deliver to the highest standard of customer satisfaction.
- Perform FAT and SAT activities, complete commissioning and test documentation to ensure handover is smooth.
About you:
- Trade or engineering qualification – electrical, (industrial) electronics, controls or similar.
- Prior experience with electrical diagnostics, fault-finding, modifications and the installation and commissioning of complete mechanical/electrical systems.
- Sound knowledge generators, controls, instrumentation, switchgear and auxiliary systems.
- A background in Power Generation, Energy Storage or Datacentre applications preferred, however training available for the right candidate.
- Easily work independently, but just as happy working in a team.
- Have effective communication and teamwork skills, and actively promote Penske's values and purpose.
