Your New Opportunity:
An excellent full time, permanent opportunity exists for a Parts Advisor to join our dynamic team, in Townsville, where you will support and advise both our internal and external stakeholders on parts across our diverse range of premium brands to minimise downtime & maximise productivity.
- Increasing and maximising all parts sales which will involve liaising with client base.
- Assisting to provide regular flow of inventory to ensure adequate and appropriate supply and guidelines are adhered to.
- Provide Parts Interpreting services & support to Townville Branch activities
- Make phone contact with client base when requested to increase business and promote new product and improvements
- Build relationships with customers to ensure ongoing business and use of genuine parts.
- Monitor and keep informed of latest product developments and updates, using these to maximum advantage.
About You:
- Completion or in the process of completing certificate in Parts Interpreting (desirable) or equivalent industry training and/or experience.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a parts interpreting or related industry role.
- Sound knowledge of MTU, Detroit Diesel, Allison and other associated products sold through our Parts departments preferable but not essential.
- Basic knowledge of the principles of operation of internal combustion engines (essential) and automatic transmissions (preferred).
- ERA Link experience is desirable but not required.
